About Me

Hello,

My name is Kenn Todd, and this is my Blog for my ramblings on life, God and the world. I am privileged to be a father, husband, son, student of God’s word, a pastor to youth, to work with amazing kids in the foster care system and currently I am in a graduate program for Social Work where I hope to work with teens who are at risk.  It has been a difficult adventure at times but it has been worth every hardship to follow Christ every step of the way, I hope you can say the same one day.

There are many beliefs, philosophies, and ideas out there, and that being said, whatever you put your faith in had better be able to support you. My faith is in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I have looked at the facts, historical, geographical, cultural, extra Biblical evidences, Cosmological, Chemical, DNA, religious, common sense and they all point to the same thing, Jesus Christ. He claimed to be God and he backed it up. Even Paul the Apostle admitted that if there was no resurrection, there would be no Christianity (Check out 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 You can look up a Bible Online at http://www.crosswalk.com/ then look for “Search the Bible”) .That evidence, that historical reality of Christ taking up his life after death, is what my faith rests in. Jesus Christ, who he is, what he did and what he has promised to those who simply believe and trust Him alone for salvation.

So I pose this question to you “Who is Jesus Christ?” That is the most important question you can ever answer, it will affect you in every way imaginable, now and after you die a physical death.

“Keep the faith, and Give it away”!

Hope to hear from you!

  1. What is the resurrection? Will we have physical bodies in the resurrection?

The Resurrection is basicallycoming back from a very real and absolute death. for example, Lazarus (John 11:38-44), Son of the Widow from Nain (Luke 7: 11-15), Jarius’ Daughter (Luke 8: 49-56), and of course Jesus (Matthew 28:5-10). To answer your question about physical bodies we only have to look at Jesus after his resurrection. Jesus did have a physical, but it will be a body that is superior to ours in every way. Free from the problems of sin and death.

    Here are some related passages:
    1 Corinthians 15:35-54, Acts 4:1-2; 23:6; 24:15, 21; Philippians 3:10-14
